Run by Forestry England, Westonbirt Arboretum is an extraordinary place to visit as it has one of the most beautiful and important plant collections in the world, with 15,000 specimens, and 2,500 species of tree from all over the globe. As well as playing a vital part in research and conservation, it is a stunningly beautiful place for all family members, including dogs (in some areas). Wheelchair friendly but access to some areas may be testing. Mobility scooters can be hired at time of booking tickets on-line. Concerts held in the summer and an ‘Enchanted Walk’ over the festive period when the trees are lit up. Don’t miss the Treetop Walkway!
